See what some users saying about the Livescribe Echo Smartpen:

Sylvia M. says Great product!
I absolutely love this pen. My only wish is that Amazon would sell the caps. I lost mine after two days and needed to go directly to Livescribe to replace it.

Robert says: My daughter loves it. Uses the smartpen in all here college classes.

Larry C. says: Very useful. Many applications. Thanks!

Frank says: It’s incredibly irritating and customer service seems to be pretty minimal
This is the second of this model and the third LiveScribe pen that I have bought for myself (not including the one for my daughter.) They generally work as advertised, and can be invaluable, HOWEVER, the batteries die after about two years (apparently irrespective of how much or little you use the device), and cannot be replaced. So, if you need it, plan to buy a new one every two years. It’s incredibly irritating and customer service seems to be pretty minimal. Also, in the SKY, which my daughter has, the software tends to be very buggy. Unfortunately, there isn’t much out there competing with it.
